ViewMaxxer ("we", "us", or "our") operates viewmaxxer.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: your email address, name, and profile photo — provided directly or via Google Sign-In.
• Usage data: search keywords you enter, videos you like, and how many searches you run per day.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting provider (Railway).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and personalise ViewMaxxer (save your liked videos, track your search quota).
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. welcome email, payment receipts) — we do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• To detect and prevent abuse of our free tier.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers:

• Google — for authentication (Google Sign-In) and video data (YouTube Data API v3). Your use of ViewMaxxer is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — for payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Railway — our cloud hosting provider, located in the United States.

4. YouTube API Services

ViewMaxxer uses the YouTube Data API v3 to retrieve video and channel statistics. By using ViewMaxxer, you also agree to YouTube's Terms of Service. We only use YouTube data to display outlier scores — we do not store video content.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Stripe may retain payment records as required by law.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@viewmaxxer.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All traffic is served over HTTPS. We use Stripe for payments so card data never touches our servers.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
