Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ViewMaxxer at viewmaxxer.com, operated by Aidan Gardner ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ViewMaxxer is a web application that uses the YouTube Data API v3 to help creators discover high-performing videos in any niche by calculating outlier scores (video views ÷ channel average). It is provided "as is" for informational purposes. We do not guarantee any particular outcome or revenue from using ViewMaxxer.

2. Accounts

• You must be 16 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these Terms.

3. Free Tier

Free accounts receive 3 searches per day and may save up to 10 liked videos. These limits may change with notice.

4. Pro Subscription

• Pro plans are billed monthly ($12/mo) or yearly ($99/yr) via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time through your account or by emailing hello@viewmaxxer.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
• Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first payment if you are not satisfied. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable. Email hello@viewmaxxer.com to request a refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape or bulk-download data from ViewMaxxer.
• Attempt to bypass search limits or access controls.
• Use the service to build a competing product that also relies on the YouTube Data API without your own authorisation.
• Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the service.

6. YouTube API Compliance

ViewMaxxer is built on the YouTube Data API v3. Your use is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

7. Intellectual Property

ViewMaxxer's code, design, and content are owned by Aidan Gardner. YouTube video data is owned by respective creators and is made available via the YouTube API under Google's terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Outlier scores are calculated from publicly available YouTube API data and may not reflect real-time accuracy. We are not liable for decisions you make based on ViewMaxxer data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to the Service

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. If we make material changes to pricing, we will provide at least 30 days notice by email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
